What is media certification?
A verifiable proof of origin: who published a file and when. Certification attests to where media came from — it does not judge whether the depicted content is true.
Is Hardlock5 a deepfake detector?
No. We don't analyze whether a file is fake — we prove that a file is yours. A missing certificate doesn't mean media is fake; a present one means its origin is proven.
How does the invisible watermark work?
Neural networks embed an identifier directly into the pixels without changing how the media looks. It withstands common transformations such as compression and resizing.
Which blockchain do you use?
KleverChain, a public blockchain. The certificate is a public, timestamped record — your media itself is never published on the blockchain.
What happens if my media is edited?
Light edits (compression, resizing) normally preserve the watermark. Heavy edits can destroy it — in that case verification reports that origin could not be confirmed. Verification also compares a perceptual fingerprint to tell faithful copies from altered versions.
Is verification really free?
Yes. The public verification page is open to anyone, with no account and no cost.
Can a certificate be revoked?
Yes. The issuer can revoke a certificate at any time — from then on, verifying that media reports the certificate as revoked.
What can't Hardlock5 do?
We don't prove that media content is true, only its origin. Full verification requires blockchain access — offline, we can only indicate that a watermark is present. These limitations are disclosed on every verification result.
